History
The SAR 21 was designed by Singapore to replace older rifles. Engineers wanted a weapon that was easier to carry in the small, dense forests and city environments found in Singapore. It was built with a special layout called bullpup, which means the magazine is behind the trigger. This makes the gun shorter but keeps the barrel long enough to shoot far and accurately. Since it began service, the SAR 21 has become the main rifle for the Singapore Armed Forces. It is known for being reliable and easy for soldiers to use during training or real missions. It even includes a built-in laser aiming device to help soldiers shoot better in different light conditions.
