History
The FA-50PH was chosen by the Philippine Air Force to bring back its ability to fly fast jet fighters. After the old F-5 jets retired, the country did not have any fast jets for many years. These planes come from South Korea and are based on a trainer plane that was made very fast and strong. They started arriving in the Philippines in 2015. These jets are perfect for the Philippines because they are not too expensive to fly, but they can still do important jobs. Pilots use them to practice flying and to guard the Philippine skies from intruders. The jets have been very reliable and have become the main star of the Philippine Air Force.
