History
The BRP Jose Rizal was built in South Korea to give the Philippine Navy a big upgrade in power. Before this ship, the Navy used very old boats from other countries. Having this new ship allows the country to better patrol the sea and respond to threats quickly. It arrived in the Philippines in 2020 after a long journey at sea. This frigate is designed to fight other ships, planes, and submarines. It has many sensors and radars that can see far away. It represents a big step forward for the Philippine military as they try to modernize their equipment for the future.
