History
The K2 Black Panther was designed to replace older tanks in the South Korean military. Engineers wanted a tank that could move fast over rough ground and hit targets very accurately. Development began in the 1990s and it officially entered service in 2014. It is famous for being one of the most expensive and high-tech tanks in the world today. The tank features a special suspension system that lets it tilt and kneel. This helps it hide behind hills or rocks while still being able to shoot at enemies. It also has strong armor and a very fast-firing main gun that can hit moving targets from far away.
