History
The Beretta 92FS was designed in Italy by the famous gun company Beretta. It was built to be a strong and accurate handgun for soldiers to carry. It uses a special design that makes it less likely to jam during heavy use. Because of its great design, the Italian military chose it to be their main sidearm in the 1970s. The United States military also chose this pistol to replace their older guns in the 1980s. It became very famous because it is easy to hold and simple to clean after target practice. It has been used for many decades and is still a favorite choice for security teams today. Many people recognize it because they see it in movies and video games often.
