歴史
P90は1980年代後半、ベルギーのFN Herstal社によって開発されました。同社は、通常のライフルよりも持ち運びが簡単で、なおかつ強力な武器を作りたいと考えました。設計は1990年頃に完了しました。この武器は独特の形状と、上部のマガジンに50発の弾丸を装填できることで有名になりました。非常に軽量で、兵士や警察官が廊下や建物のような狭い場所で移動する際に扱いやすい武器です。現在、世界中の多くの特殊部隊で使用されています。近接戦闘における信頼性と精度の高さで知られており、警備員や軍のチームから非常に好まれています。
