History

The Philippine Special Operations Command, or SOCOM, is a special group made of the best soldiers from different branches. It was started in 1996 to pull all the elite teams together under one leader. These soldiers go through very hard training that teaches them how to survive in the jungle and how to move quietly. They are usually the first ones sent to help when there is a major problem in the country. Because they are so skilled, they are very important for keeping the nation safe. They work as a team to solve problems that regular soldiers might find too difficult. Today, they remain the most ready group for any kind of emergency.
