History
The New Zealand Special Air Service, also known as the NZSAS, was formed in 1955. It was created to help protect the country and support its friends around the world. The soldiers go through very hard training to be part of this group. They learn how to survive in the wild, use many different tools, and work together as a perfect team.
Over the years, the NZSAS has served in many places. They are known for being quiet, brave, and very skilled. Whether they are helping in a war zone or doing search and rescue missions, they focus on finishing the job safely. The government trusts them to handle the hardest tasks that regular soldiers might not be ready for.
Today, the group continues to be a very important part of New Zealand's defense. They keep their training modern to deal with new technology and different kinds of dangers. Being a member of the NZSAS is considered a very high honor in the military.
