历史
T-54及其升级版T-55的设计初衷，是用现代主战坦克来取代第二次世界大战时期的装甲车辆。该坦克拥有一个圆顶状的炮塔，敌人很难发现并击中它。它配备了一门威力强大的100mm rifled cannon，可以发射穿甲弹。
这个坦克系列成为了世界历史上产量最高的坦克家族，总共制造了大约100,000辆。冷战期间，苏联在整个欧洲部署了数千辆该型坦克。在Vietnam War的后期阶段，北越部队也驾驶这些坦克参加了战斗。
