历史
Douglas C-47 Skytrain 是由民用 DC-3 客机改进而来，于 1941 年开始服役。它很快就证明了自己是有史以来最可靠、用途最广的双引擎运输机之一。
在 1944 年 6 月的诺曼底登陆日，C-47 将数千名盟军伞兵投送到诺曼底的敌后地区。在太平洋和亚洲战场，它们飞越险峻的喜马拉雅山脉，为抗击轴心国军队的中国部队运送补给。
