North American F-86 Sabre bắt đầu phục vụ ở tuyến đầu vào năm 1949 và là một trong những tiêm kích phản lực cánh xuôi hàng đầu thế giới. Nó được thiết kế để bay ở tốc độ gần bằng tốc độ âm thanh và chịu được các cuộc không chiến cường độ cao.
