歴史
20世紀初頭のSpainは、国内の争いに悩まされていました。1936年から1939年にかけて、国内で大きな内戦が起こりました。この戦争により、国は政治的なグループの間で分断されました。
1939年に第二次世界大戦が始まると、Spainはちょうど内戦が終わったばかりでした。国が疲弊しており立て直しが必要だったため、Spain政府は中立を保ち、公式には戦争に参加しないことを選びました。
Spainは中立でしたが、一部のスペイン人ボランティアがドイツ側につき、Soviet Unionと戦うために参加しました。政府は自国の安全を守るため、大戦の主な戦闘にはほとんど関わりませんでした。
第二次世界大戦後、Spainはゆっくりと世界に開かれていきました。やがて近代的な民主主義国家へと成長し、European Unionのメンバーとして、近隣諸国との平和と友好に力を注ぐようになりました。
