サウジアラビア国家警備隊は、冷戦時代にCadillac Gage Commandoを大量に購入しました。この4輪の車両は速くて動きが良く、広大な砂漠の国境をパトロールするのに適していました。
1991年1月、カフジの戦いにおいて、国家警備隊のV-150の乗組員たちはイラク軍に対して勇敢に戦いました。対戦車ミサイルや大砲を装備したV-150は、敵の戦車による攻撃を食い止める助けとなりました。
