歴史
USS Ohio は、このタイプの潜水艦の最初の1隻でした。もともとは冷戦時代に大きな核ミサイルを運ぶために作られました。国を守る必要があるときに備えて、長い間、波の下深くに隠れて過ごしました。
その後、アメリカ海軍はこの船を改造し、普通のミサイルを積めるようにしました。これにより、さまざまな任務にとても役立つようになりました。この潜水艦は、浮上しなくても何ヶ月も海の中にいられます。
現在では、誘導ミサイル原子力潜水艦として知られています。これまでに作られた中でも最大級の潜水艦です。海を見張り、他の兵士を助けるための秘密の道具を運ぶことで、海軍をサポートしています。
