歴史
イタリアは、より強力な敵の装甲車両と戦うことができない古い軽戦車を置き換えるために、M13/40を製造しました。この戦車は小型の砲塔砲を搭載し、車体の前面に2丁の機関銃を備えていました。多くのM13/40は北アフリカの砂漠で戦いました。しかし、ボルトで固定された装甲板は被弾時にひび割れやすく、エンジンは熱い砂や埃の中で故障することがよくありました。M4 Shermanのような新しい連合軍の戦車と比べると力不足でしたが、イタリア軍の乗組員はより良い車両が徐々に到着するまで、勇敢に戦い続けました。
