歴史
第二次世界大戦中に緊急の艦隊駆逐艦として建造されました。もとはイギリスのHMS Scourgeという名前の艦船でしたが、1946年にオランダ海軍に加わりHNLMS Evertsenとなりました。この速い軍艦は、広い海で戦うために強力な大砲と魚雷を装備していました。
1950年、HNLMS Evertsenは朝鮮戦争で国連軍とともに戦うために送られました。この駆逐艦は海岸線の見張り、大型の空母の護衛、そして陸上の軍隊を助けるための敵陣地への砲撃を行いました。
