歴史
BTR-60は、ソビエト連邦が歩兵を機関銃や砲弾の破片から守りながら運ぶために開発しました。8つの大きな駆動輪とボートのような車体を持ち、川や湖を泳いで渡ることができました。
北ベトナムは、機械化歩兵大隊を支援するためにBTR-60を導入しました。この車両は、橋の建設を待つことなく、ぬかるんだ道を素早く走行したり、広い水路を渡ったりすることができました。
