Histoire
Le Sukhoi Su-27 est un célèbre avion de chasse conçu en Union soviétique. Il a été construit pour être très rapide et capable de voler sur de longues distances. De nombreux pays dans le monde utilisent cet avion parce qu'il est performant lors des combats aériens. L'Éthiopie a commencé à utiliser ces avions pour moderniser son armée de l'air pendant une période de tension avec ses voisins. Les avions étaient une partie importante de la stratégie de l'armée de l'air éthiopienne à la fin des années 1990 et au début des années 2000. Ils ont été utilisés pour prendre le contrôle du ciel lors de conflits frontaliers. Aujourd'hui, ces avions servent toujours d'avions de chasse principaux pour l'Éthiopie. Les pilotes s'entraînent très dur pour les piloter car ce sont des machines complexes. L'Éthiopie a maintenu ces avions en bon état grâce à un entretien régulier et au soutien de partenaires internationaux.
