History

The Special Forces of the Lao People's Army are the elite soldiers of the country. They are chosen because they are very fit and have excellent skills. These soldiers go through much harder training than regular soldiers in the army. They learn how to survive in the deep jungles, how to move quietly, and how to use special gear to complete secret tasks. Their main job is to be ready for emergencies where a regular army unit might not be fast enough. They can be dropped into hard-to-reach places to protect the country or rescue people. Being a member of this unit is a very big honor in the Lao military. They are often used for security during important events in Laos, ensuring that everything stays safe and orderly. They represent the strength and the high standards of the modern Lao military force today.
