The M1A2 Abrams of Kuwait

History

Following the Gulf War, Kuwait wanted to ensure its land forces were strong enough to stop any future threats. They looked at several options and eventually chose the American M1A2 Abrams. This tank is famous for being very tough and having very good sights to find enemies from far away. It was delivered in the mid-1990s to replace older equipment. When the new tanks arrived, soldiers had to learn a lot about how to drive and maintain them. They are much more advanced than the tanks Kuwait used in the past. The tank has a large cannon that can fire accurately while the tank is moving. This is a special feature that makes it very dangerous to anyone who might attack. Kuwait's soldiers use these tanks for practice in the desert to stay ready for any mission. The M1A2 is known for keeping its crew safe inside even during difficult battles. It is the main tank of the Kuwaiti Army today.
